Why Israel?
Contrary to what might be popular thought in the world right now, Christians supporting Israel and the Jewish people is not a social or political issue. It is not even a compassionate issue (springing the horrors and terror of the Holocaust) -supporting Israel and the Jewish people is a Biblical issue that is deeply rooted in scripture.
Here at ODPC you will hear our Pastoral staff say that, “we believe the Bible is true, that it is God’s Word, that it's living and active, that it’s the only infallible way of faith and practice for us. So, we want to know what it says and let it change us. Change our minds, our hearts, our lives, to the Glory of God.” And the Bible is clear on how Israel should be treated, and (especially as Christians) we are to honor Him by honoring Israel, praying for His chosen people and standing with Him for His plans for Israel now and forever.
