Memorials and Honorariums

Honor loved ones, family, and friends through Our Columbarium, or other special memorials...

Alter Flowers for Sunday Morning Worship |
Honor the memory of your loved one by dedicating Altar Flowers for Sunday morning worship. Sign up for your preferred date and complete all required information either in the Church Office during normal business hours, Monday–Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (the office is closed on Fridays), or in the Narthex on Sundays. Please look for the podium with the Altar Flowers sign-up sheet. Flower arrangements are $75.00 each. Checks should be made payable to Ocean Drive Presbyterian Church, with “Altar Flowers” noted in the memo line.

Remembrance Fund |
In lieu of purchasing flowers, you may contribute to the Remembrance Fund in memory or in honor of a loved one. Contributions to this fund are used for the beautification of our church. To ensure inclusion in our Sunday Worship Bulletin, notice and payment must be received at least two weeks prior to the requested recognition date. Donations may be made in person at the Church Office during the week or online through our giving portal. When giving online, please select “Memorial & Gift” from the “Select a Fund” menu.

Christmas Poinsettias &  Easter Honorariums |
Each year, during the Christmas and Easter seasons, Ocean Drive Presbyterian Church purchases a designated number of flower arrangements using the Remembrance Fund. These flowers add to the beautification of our church during these sacred holidays. Loved ones are honored and acknowledged by name in a special bulletin insert during the Christmas Eve and Easter Sunday services. In the weeks leading up to each holiday, special memorial envelopes are provided in the pews for donations and dedication information. Completed envelopes may be placed in the offering plate or collection box. These envelopes are available beginning in late February through mid-March for Easter, and again in November through mid-December for Christmas.

Our Columbarium
The church is the central point of importance in every Christian’s life. It provides a facility for important events from baptism to a final resting place. Our Columbarium at ODPC will help meet our vision by offering a holy space for human remains (cremains) following cremation.
