Becoming a member of the Church is an important and essential step for every Christian. Jesus Christ created the Church to be His representatives, ambassadors and His body in today’s world – to be His hands, feet and heart. We join together as church members in a local church in worship and prayer, in growing spiritually, in discipleship, fellowship, evangelism, and reaching out in service to one another and the world.
As member of a local church community we are part of something far greater than ourselves. We bind ourselves together to accomplish things of eternal value – things that we cannot accomplish on our own – as we rely on God’s immeasurable grace. Our membership office is always ready to answer any question you may have about ODPC and all that God is doing here! Interested in learning more about ODPC and/or membership? We have a class just for that!
In our Get to Know ODPC Class, our pastoral and membership staff will introduce you to the “Big Picture” of ODPC. We will have a brief time to get to know each other followed by a discussion regarding our Beliefs, History, Staff, Ministry Programs, and Opportunities to Serve. We will also have time to answer any questions you might have. Each attendee will receive a Membership Information packet which includes a New Members Form, and details on all the topics covered in the class. New Member forms can also be found at the links below. You are not required to fill out the New Member Form before attending the class.
